Collection of Photos from 'Bendy' Bill Ballard
Bill Ballard who
joined the Squadron in 1974 has sent in a small collection of photographs taken
at Napier Barracks and on the Black Watch marches held in Hoogeveen Holland.
Can you help identify anyone one? There are a few more photos in the Members
area

The photo with three
sitting on the bench is of the marching team with Chris Pavey sporting the
moustache to the right of the picture. Sorry, can't recall the names of other
two. |

On the left of this
photo is John Tait but who is wearing the dark glasses? |

Kelly, Paddy Sloan, Ivor Reece and on the other seat Alf Thornley ? |

In this photo the
flag is being jealously guarded by Ivor Reece. |

Whilst the person in
the other shot out the back of the "transport" is I believe Alf Thornley?

This photo was
taken from one block of the next one to it. I don't know the owner of the car,
but it was parked just to the rear of the armoury block. The windows being
cleaned were immediately adjacent to the famous "horse in the block" stairwell.

This group photo
which I believe was taken at one of the open days, I can try to identify a few
faces but please bear with me on that one. Far right is Sgt. Gavin Escott next
is Taff Wade next is Dougie (may have been Atter). Next to Dougie is the famous
Scotsman Billy McKinley, due to his size I think the next one is Jack Leather,
(strongly suspect error here) but not sure. I do recognise the faces of the
next 2 but not the names at present. Then comes self Bill Ballard in beret, I
believe the next one is Colin Ingledew with another D11 Queen (as I myself is).
