Royal Signals Association Reunion Blandford Camp Dorset 2005.

Corps RSM receives Squadron Plaque

Sgt's Mess Blandford

Secretary Geoff Scott presents Corps RSM Simon Hadley with the Squadron Plaque as Pete Thomas and Steve Barron (SQMS 11 Signal Regiment) look on.

Squadron members searched through hundreds of unit plaques on display in the Sergeants Mess at Blandford during this years RSA Reunion but none bore the title 260 Signal Squadron (SAM).

After some consideration the Committee Members present decided that this should be rectified with out delay and the Corps RSM Simon Hadley was duly summonsed and presented with a 260 Signal Squadron (SAM) plaque.

Simon was delighted to receive the plaque. He told us that the Mess was due for redecoration and assured all those present that the plaque would be on display by the next reunion.

Corps RSM Simon Hadley wrote to Secretary Geoff Scott to thank him and the members of our association for the Squadron Plaque. Geoff was keen that you all should see Simon's letter below.
